I really like how you colored the sky in particular. Is that watercolor?
Krystal looks lovely-- nice and relaxed, and her staff propped up against the tree gives it a nice added efect. (It IS a staff right? I didn't really play the games, so I'm not sure.)

TO answer your question:
Yes the sky is done in watercolour. I used watercolour pencils to give it a smooth effect. It's quite a simple yet very effective technique.
Also the thingo is actually a staff. It's not in use so it's not extended. IF you like to see other variations. I got another fan work of her with my OC. It's going to take a while, but it's going to be worth the time
